POSITION:  1st Line Support Analyst – software / application support

SUITABLE FOR:  Service Desk / 1st Line Support / First Line Support / Helpdesk / Application Support / Software Support Analyst

LOCATION: Leeds, West Yorkshire

SALARY: £19,000 + 6% Bonus

Our client is looking for a Service Desk / 1st Line Support Analyst / First Line Support / Helpdesk / Application Support / Software Support Analyst to take on an exciting opportunity within their business.

You need exceptional customer service skills and have experience in a support role using call logging software – you will be taught everything else. The company welcome candidates with a hardworking attitude who are looking to learn and can offer excellent career progression.

This is a varied role and would suit someone who would welcome a change from day to day payroll processing type role who would like to put their experience to good use in a different career direction.

Experience:

As Service Desk / 1st Line Support / First Line Support / Helpdesk / Application Support / Software Support Analyst, you would be required to have the following –

  • Experience using and supporting software applications
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer service skills
  • Proven diagnostics skills (tested by scenario-based questioning)
  • Experience using Active Directory and knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
  • Experience of using a web-based call logging system

 Desirable:

  • Hold higher education certifications in Customer Services
  • Experience of working within a service desk or contact centre/Help
  • HR or Payroll knowledge
  • Any transferable skills such as Customer training experience, interpersonal skills, communication skills etc.

The Role:

As Service Desk / 1st Line Support / First Line Support / Helpdesk / Application Support / Software Support Analyst, you will be providing 1st line software support and troubleshooting to customers (end users and system support staff) typically by phone, e-mail and customer web portal.
