Position: Bookkeeper – Full Time
Suitable for: Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator / Finance Assistant / Finance Administrator / Accounts Assistant
Location: Wetherby, West Yorkshire
Salary: up to £25,000
Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator / Finance Assistant / Finance Administrator / Accounts Assistant / with knowledge of Sage accounts required. Our client is a privately-owned company specialising in payroll services nationwide, this role is based in their office in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.
- Minimum of 2 years finance / accounting experience ideally in the role of Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator / Finance Assistant / Finance Administrator / Accounts Assistant
- Knowledge of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Nominal Ledger
- Able to take the accounts up to trial balance level
- Creating customer invoices
- Posting supplier invoices
- Allocating payments and receipts within Sage
- Creating new accounts in Sage
The Candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational skills & high attention to detail
- Must be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Team player and able to establish effective working relationships
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Excel
- Have prior experience with Sage Accounts
