Position: Payroll Administrator – Payroll jobs with a difference!

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary: £19,000 – £27,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We are seeking a goal-oriented, high energy and hardworking individuals for our clients rapidly growing and successful Payroll Company based in Leeds.

The company is looking for individuals who are passionate about their work and endeavour to meet the highest standards whilst working in a fun and friendly environment with extensive career progression opportunities.

All levels of payroll experience will be considered and a good attitude is key, roles within the business vary from desk jobs to field positions. The company run a bespoke product and full training will be given.

PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST HAVE SOME PAYROLL PROCESSING EXPERIENCE TO APPLY.

Experience / Person Specification:

• Minimum of 1 year payroll processing experience – more than data input only.
• Knowledge of PAYE
• Proven customer service skills while maintaining a confidential work environment
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Knowledge and experience of using computer based payroll software packages
• Be highly numerate and able to work to a high degree of accuracy
• Good communication skills with clients, employees and management.
• A committed team player and very detail oriented
• Professional, yet personable demeanour

Desirable Skills:
• Studying towards a recognised professional payroll qualification
• Knowledge of Auto Enrolment requirements
• Experience with processing a payroll from start to finish
• Payroll related benefits administration which includes Bacs, HMRC and Pension reconciliations
• Full clean driver’s license and the ability to do overnight stays
The Roles:

Within the roles on offer with our client the job requirements may consist of, but are not limited to, the following –

• Become an expert on the company’s Payroll software
• Visiting client sites
• Ensure your client payrolls are processed accurately and on time
• Dealing with any client queries in a timely manner
• Feedback any ideas on improvements to the product, procedures and processes
• Ensure you are up to date with Payroll legislation and any new government policies
• Ensure the Company meet the highest standard of client service
• Assist and play a major contributing role in the implementation of existing projects
