Location: York, North Yorkshire

Salary: £20,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience) + full Perkbox subscription

Rapidly expanding award winning digital agency currently seeking enthusiastic full-time Backend PHP Developer / Senior PHP Developer / PHP Developer / Laravel Developer / Web Developer / Backend PHP Developer to become part of a growing and ambitious team based in York.

The company are looking for developers with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Backend PHP Development.

The agency work with organisations all over the world form small tech start-ups to international conglomerates and government organisations. This is an exciting role in a company where you can really make a difference.

Essential:

  • Min 2 years’ experience as PHP Developer
  • OOP PHP 7
  • MVC
  • MySQL 5.7
  • Excellent written / spoken English
  • Strong work ethic – able to work quickly whilst maintaining quality output
  • Commercial awareness
  • Self-sufficiency – initiative, time management, multitasking

Nice to have:

  • Laravel
  • JavaScript or CoffeeScript
  • API development experience
  • Mobile development experience
  • UNIX – daily desktop usage and server admin
  • Jira

The Role:

As PHP Developer / Backend PHP Developer / Senior PHP Developer / PHP Developer / Laravel Developer / Web Developer / Backend PHP Developer you will be joining a small team of people working in a friendly and informal environment on both client and company projects. The Backend PHP Developer will be working on bespoke websites and web applications both independently and as part of a team.
