Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire (+ some client travel). Flexible remote working would be considered for the right candidate

Salary: C£25,000 (depending on experience)

Expanding e-commerce / web solutions company is looking for an enthusiastic full-time IT Project Manager to become part of a growing and ambitious team based in Knaresborough.

This role would be suitable for an IT Project Manager, Project Co-Ordinator, Software Project Manager, Project Support, Junior Project Manager with some Digital and/or IT experience.

The role is there for the IT Project Manager to make their own, working in a small, flexible, experienced company who stand out in their field.  Clients range from start ups to big brand UK companies to governments.  The work will be both challenging and rewarding.

Essential

  • Experience working as an IT Project Manager, Project Co-Ordinator, Software Project Manager, Project Support, Junior Project Manager in a Digital / IT environment
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
  • Ability to clearly and accurately communicate between multiple project participants
  • Good client facing and team work skills
  • Have excellent organisational skills and an ability to continuously multi task
  • Be well presented and happy to travel around the UK (not extensive) to meet clients and cement strong relationships

Nice to have:

  • Experience of working with MS Project or similar
  • Relevant industry certifications such as PMP / PRINCE2 or similar
  • Experience with ERP or CRM software systems or products
  • Experience with web / digital  / software / technology industry is a plus

The Role:

The role of Digital Project Manager / Project Manager / Project Co-Ordinator / Software Project Manager / Project Support / Junior Project Manager will include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Review, set up and monitor internal project and account management processes
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define project aims, objectives and requirements
  • Turn projects into project plans, and assign tasks to internal teams
  • Monitor project progress whilst ensuring that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducing quality assurance tests
