Position: Senior WordPress Developer
Suitable for: Senior Developer / Web Developer / WordPress Developer / PHP Developer / Full Stack Developer / PHP Developer
Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Salary: £20,000 – £32,000 DOE
Our client is an award-winning leading creative digital agency based in the centre of Harrogate a short walk from the railway station. They have a varied and interesting portfolio of clients and have worked with many well-known brands.They are looking for a Senior Developer / Web Developer / WordPress Developer / PHP Developer / Full Stack Developer / PHP Developer with a confident and friendly personality who can communicate effectively with clients. The successful candidate will be an experienced developer who can create themes and plug-ins and who has a creative eye.
Essential Requirements
As Senior Developer / Web Developer / WordPress Developer / PHP Developer / Full Stack Developer / PHP Developer the following experience is required:
• At least three years’ experience working with WordPress – the ability to build themes from the ground up and write plugins
• Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL
• Solid HTML5 / CSS3 / SASS and Javascript coding skills
• Experience in Object Oriented Programming
• A basic understanding of JSON driven APIs, both querying and developing
• Good working knowledge of web and mobile UX/UI best practices
• A good eye for design and layout
• Excellent time management with the ability handle multiple projects and to quote accurately and deliver on time
• Confident and friendly personality who can communicate effectively with clients

Desirable
As Senior Developer / Web Developer / WordPress Developer / PHP Developer / Full Stack Developer / PHP Developer the following experience is desirable:
• Experience with Adobe products, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
• Use of Ajax
• Some experience with Woocommerce
• JQuery and Javascript libraries and tools
• Experience of developing and testing responsive websites for multiple browsers, platforms and devices
• Experience of using version control systems, ideally SVN
