Position: Infrastructure Engineer
Suitable for: IT Engineer or Technical Support Engineer with experience of Azure, Networking and Windows Server Technologies
Location: Milton Keynes. This role is office based, requiring at least 3 days a week in the office, up to 5 days a week at the beginning for inductions.
Salary: to £36k + bens
Hours: 37.5 hours per week with participation in the following rotas with commitment to work outside of these hours if required:
– Office-Cover Rota, between 08:00 and 18:00
– On-Call Rota, between 18:00 and 08:00
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Infrastructure Engineer will work alongside specialists within the team, taking responsibility for all aspects of the corporate infrastructure upon which the organisation operates, with the opportunity to be involved in new and emerging projects from their inception.
The Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with the numerous departments, ensuring that the comprehensive support service is maintained and therefore sustaining the strong inter-departmental relationships that have been forged to date.
The successful Infrastructure Engineer will be provided with on-the-job training for all supported Platforms, Operating Systems etc., but is expected to have prior experience of Microsoft Azure, Networking and Windows Server Technologies. Access to key learning resources will also be made available to the successful candidate, via our well-established Microsoft Partnership.
