This candidate is a highly strategic and commercially focused product leader with nearly a decade of experience in the UK healthcare market, building on a 20-plus year career delivering growth in complex regulatory  environments.

Recognised by peers as an intuitive and practical leader, they leverage a comprehensive set of Go-To-Market, commercial, and technical skills across the entire product lifecycle, with proven experience in taking products from ideation to launch and expanding existing product propositions into new markets. As an agile champion, they have demonstrable experience in successfully Lean thinking to assess, develop, and adapt products and business models.

They have a deep understanding of the NHS operating structures, encompassing Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, Social Care, and Allied Healthcare, particularly regarding the digital ecosystem, architecture, and interoperability.

Experience

Commercial & Go-To- Market Lead (February 2022 – February 2025) – NHS Service Provider

  • Go-To-Market lead for unique cancer screening system into the UK and Ireland, targeting an addressable market of over £400 million.
  • Leading complex market entry initiatives for native product capabilities in Virtual Care & Primary Care GP foundation systems aligning road-mapping to the NHS’s Digital Services for Integrated Care capabilities.
  • Manage a diverse group of stakeholders ranging from internal to NHS England decision-makers, industry-leading partners, and customers.
  • Through the procurement framework entry, has established Go-To-Market routes for its product portfolio.

 

Product Manager (April 2020 to February 2022) – NHS Service Provider

  • Led the expansion and development of a varied product portfolio, concentrating on innovative solutions for employment, regulatory compliance, NHS complaints, and insurance.
  • Led the relaunch of the legacy product, overseeing its repositioning and redesign from the investment case to the launch and subsequent hypercare period.
  • Led the execution of a Go-To-Market plan for the large loss personal injury analytics tool including the IP acquisition of key a start-up partner.
  • Coached the firm’s Partners through Lean product processes, including the adoption of business model canvases and ‘Jobs-to-be-done’ frameworks for customer engagement, to instil a product-led culture within the traditional fee-for-service law firm.

 

Senior Product Manager (September 2017 to January 2020) – NHS Service Provider

  • Initially assuming the role of Product Owner, before transitioning to the position of Product Manager, to oversee the roadmap and development of two distinct modules, Finance and HR, within an Integrated Primary Care HR and Finance Enterprise Resource Platform.
  • Managed three product teams, each with a Product Owner, and coordinated multidisciplinary onshore and offshore teams comprising developers, business analysts, quality assurance specialists, and clinicians.
  • Successfully delivered business case, securing £2 million in funding to adapt population health analytics tools for the UK market, addressing emerging market needs.
  • Led the Go-To-Market strategy and execution for the Individual Health Record IHR in the UK market, based on a comprehensive market analysis.
