Senior Integration Engineer (December 2019 – Present) – NHS

• Design and Implementation of complex new interfaces using Rhapsody 7. These will primarily consist of HL7/FHIR messaging but may also include other related tools and languages like XML and Javascript.
• Build complex ECMA Javascript based components for use in Rhapsody.
• Build various SQL Stored Procedures using SSMS.
• Mapping Inbound HL7 Messages to Trust Internal and External Systems as per the requirements.
• Provide continuous integration support for environments like CRIS, PACS, ICE but not limited to.
• Utilize REST Clients, Soap Clients to connect to different systems. In this process, build complex XML
• Structures and JSON Structures to support the Webservice Calls.
• Maintain legacy interfaces which have been built on the older versions of Rhapsody.
• Provide continuous integration support for environments like CRIS, PACS, ICE but not limited to.
• Liaise with all the system suppliers and key stakeholders with regards to problems or developments.
• Document all new Developments.
• Upgrade of the Rhapsody in different integration environments on need basis.

• Using Java 8, Maven and Eclipse and Jenkins:
  – Build Custom Java Libraries to use in Integration Engine. This has greatly simplified the amount of code written in the Engine.
  – Develop a REST API, with Spring Boot 2.3, that allowed for seamless integration between different internal systems.
  – Develop Test Suites using Junit to ensure bug-free code.
  – Use CI/CD pipeline in Jenkins to setup new branches for many projects. This has greatly helped in streamlining the build process and thus saving time and effort.
  – Use Git and TFS for the Version Control.
